Computerised wheel alignment

With the help of LASER and 3D technology, we make sure that your wheels are accurately aligned. This helps improve handling and steering.

Wheel Alignment
  • Wheel alignment is essential to improve the life of your tyres and your vehicle as a whole.
  • If you don’t get your wheels aligned properly, you will face handling problems, a bumpy ride and your tyres will wear out very fast.
  • We are the first to introduce 3D wheel alignment technology in India, with the help of which all 2 wheels of your car can be aligned at the same time.
How it works:
  • Using LASER and 3D measurement with Hawkeye technology, a computerized model of the wheel angles is created.
  • This is compared with the actual angles measured using sensors.
  • The two values are compared and the alignment angles needed are calculated.
  • This data can be printed out for reference
Advantages:
  • Metal-to-metal contact is eliminated due to the use of LASER and Hawkeye sensors.
  • This reduces the risk of rim damage.
  • All 4 wheels can be checked at the same time.
  • A balanced wheel will enhance tyre life and fuel efficiency.
  • Balance new tyres immediately after mounting and at every 5000 kms thereafter.
  • It is essential to balance the tyre immediately after any repair.
  • With the help of trained MRF technicians and world-class technology like the Hawkeye machine, we make sure that your wheels get the best, just like they deserve.

  • 95% pure nitrogen

Nitrogen is an inert gas, and hence has two main advantages. Your tyres will run cooler because Nitrogen does not heat up as much as air, reducing the risk of blowouts. Nitrogen also protects tyre rims from corrosion, thus enhancing the life of the wheel assembly.

    How it works:
    • Every MRF Tyres & Service outlet has a Nitrogen gauge.
    • These units have a guaranteed 95.5% purity level.
    • This is ensured by removing any trace of water vapour in the Nitrogen generator.
    • This is the highest grade of Nitrogen that can be used to inflate tyres.
    Advantages:
  • The purer the Nitrogen, the better the performance
  • Nitrogen molecules are larger than air, which means your tyre pressure remains the same for a longer period of time.
  • Being lighter than air, Nitrogen inflation improves fuel efficiency.
  • Thus, you will get optimum performance from your tyres when you inflate your tyres with Nitrogen at an MRF Tyres & Service outlet.

  • Mushroom puncture plug system

Tyre punctures are a common occurrence on Indian roads. Most punctures occur due to a foreign object like a nail entering the tyre surface, causing a sudden loss of air. The most commonly available puncture patches are of the stem or strip type, that come off under hard usage. This why every MRF Tyres & Service outlet is equipped with the mushroom repair system technology.

    How it works:
    • Most punctures only seal the outer side of the puncture.
    • A mushroom puncture plug seals the inner side as well.
    • It utilizes rubber vulcanizing cement to create a permanent seal.
    Advantages:
  • Permanent solution to punctures.
  • The mushroom plug is specifically designed for treating tubeless tyre punctures, unlike normal patches.

  • T-Runner system

Every wheel lug nut needs to be tightened to the proper limit. This is essential to prevent any damage to the rims and to prevent accidents. This is why every MRF Tyres & Service has a T-runner system.

    How it works:
    • How much a wheel nut needs to be tightened is measured by the torque to be applied to it.
    • This data is used as input for the T-runner system.
    • This applies the necessary torque while tightening wheel nuts.
    Advantages:
  • Human error is reduced.
  • Properly tightened wheel nuts ensure smooth running.
  • The T-runner helps maintain accurate wheel balance for a longer period of time.
